This will be great -- for us coders to have a library of code snippets readily available across various editors/shells.
Having user defined categories (PHP, TBS, SQL, ...) would be even better

Hi, is it possible to change the format of the dates from yyyymmdd to ddmmyyyy? I can only select a hotkey for dates with the format yyyymmdd only...

I really liked the little App, but after reinstalling my Firefox browser my clips get deleted when I shut down my computer. How can I get the program to keep all my clips?

At this point clipboard history is cleared after quitting the application. It was security issue once. May be we will implement saving history.

Altogether very nice, simple interface.
Not being able to retain the history makes it essentially useless.
What was the 'security issue' that caused you to end retaining the history.?
Perhaps add a switch so user can decide?

Is MyClip and open-source project? I can't tell.
Because you host on sourceForge, I was expecting to find the MyClip source when I looked. The files area only has binaries and the git is empty.

Reading section 6 of the SF terms, it looks like the source needs to be available when hosting there. If I've read them wrong, appologies for wasting your time.

Yes, it is planed to be open-source project, we haven't posted the whole code yet because it needs some fixing in comments.

I have MyClip running and it is constantly using the CPU power. Even when I am not copying anything, yet my CPU Usage monitor shows between 35 and 75%. Why is that? What is it doing, when I am not copying anything to the clipboard?

Is MyClip still alive? It looks promising, but without some of the features mentioned in the thread (retain history) it's not as useful as many of the other clip board alternatives.

Yes, the project is alive :). We are currently implementing "history persistance" and you will be able to enjoy it soon. Thank you for the comment.
